TV Ministry
For more than 25 years, First Methodist's sanctuary service has been broadcast in the Valdosta area. In the summer of 2006, the church upgraded the television equipment to all digital. The Audio/Visual ministry consists of volunteers who operate video cameras, audio mixers as well as technical directors. and projector operators. The 11:00 Sanctuary Service is broadcast on a one-week delay on WALB-TV Valdosta (Mediacom channel 3).
This A/V ministry team is responsible for all the lighting, sound and multimedia for our worship services during the week. This team is always looking for people who want to serve at First Methodist. The A/V team is a very special group of people who serve in the background of our church, but fulfill such a critical role in our ministry.
